The French Revolutinaries were divided into 3 social classes. The privileged estates were two of the social classes, they had high paying jobs and did not pay taxes. Unlike the 3rd estate which paid all the taxes. The French Revolutionaries hacked guards to death and cut off people's heads and walked around with heads on sticks. But the privileged estates did not lose their rights. In the American Revolution they did not cut off people's heads, or soliders heads. Britian started to pay taxes after the Americans defeated the King, unlike the privileged estates they did not lose their rights.
